Teatro Foro: teoría y práctica desde la experiencia del grupo Teatro Avellana

Abstract

This article synthesizes some theoretical and practical approaches to Forum Theater as a strategy for pedagogical mediation and political construction. It proposes A very brief historiographical review, from the political theater of the beginning of 20th century to the current implementation of Forum Theater in the Costa Rican context. Specifically, this paper presents the work carried out by the troupe, Teatro Avellana. In addition, it explains some of the methodological modifications made by this theatrical group, and it exposes a specific case of application.
